A new finish over a failed base does not solve the problem. We inspect crack pattern, elevation, thresholds, wall and column isolation, drainage, moisture conditions and the existing subgrade. The scope can include demolition and haul-away, removal of unsuitable material, base correction and compaction, vapor control where required, reinforcement, thickened edges, planned joints and a durable finished surface.

Can a cracked, uneven garage floor be replaced?
Yes. When cracking, settlement, heaving or drainage shows the slab or base has failed, replacement addresses the cause. The existing floor is removed as scoped, the subgrade is evaluated and corrected, the base is compacted, and the new slab is poured with the thickness, reinforcement, joints and finish required for garage use.
How thick should a residential concrete garage floor be?
Many residential garage floors are four inches thick, but vehicle weight, soil, edge conditions and the existing structure can require five or six inches or upgraded reinforcement. The section should be designed around the real load and site conditions, not copied from a light-use walkway or patio.
How long before a vehicle can park on a new garage floor?
Concrete gains strength over time. Light foot traffic may be allowed early, but vehicles commonly stay off the slab for about seven days, with heavier loads kept away from vulnerable edges longer. Weather, mix design, thickness and finish affect the schedule, so we provide project-specific curing instructions at handover.
Do you install epoxy or polyaspartic garage-floor coatings?
This page is for pouring or replacing the concrete garage floor itself, not selling a coating over a failing slab. A coating can improve a sound floor, but it cannot correct settlement, an unstable base or major structural movement. We evaluate the concrete first and explain whether the slab needs replacement or is suitable for a separate coating specialist.
